Los Protegidos is a Colombian telenovela aired since May 6, 2008 on Colombian TV network RCN. This telenovela is produced by Teleset and it was created as a counterweight for Caracol Televisión's new production El Cartel, but it was premiered before this last one in order to get a higher impact in the viewers.

52-year-old Saenai is an ordinary middle management salaryman. One day, he is forcibly handed a super suit by a strange old man and reluctantly takes over as superman. With a wife from hell Enko and two adolescents, Saenai is stuck between world peace and domestic problems. Life does not go well just by becoming superman. What is justice, peace and happiness?

Malhação is a Brazilian television series for the teenage audience. The soap started in 1995, and was set in a fictional Gym Club called Malhação on Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Through the years the location varied slightly. Although the name of the soap remains the same, it is now set in the Múltipla Escolha High School.

Isaura was born in 1835, in the farm of Commender Almeida. She is the daughter of the slave Juliana and the tenant of the farm, Miguel. Twenty-five years after being chased out of town by her father Zé Esteves, she returns to her home town seeking revenge against everyone who mistreated her and laugh at her face in the past.
