It is a remake of the 1975 telenovela Paloma, based on the original story by Marissa Garrido. Then Cecilia finds out the truth about her birth and meets padre Julio. Natalia discovers that Evangelina tries to appropriate the whole patrimony of Cecilia and Evangelina kills her.
